Runescape Editing Tutorial #1 - Hidden Objects.

Hey guys, what's going on? I am creating a Runescape Editing Tutorial Series which will be exclusively on my blog now. Today I will be teaching you how to do a regular Runescape Image and hide various elements away. This could lead to some interesting effects in video editing (for instance, suddenly the elements appear in a transition, spark, or vice versa)

  1. Select an Image

  2. Use Quick Selection Tool to select what you DO NOT want.
  3. Click Shift-F5, or alternatively Edit>Fill
  4. Click OK to Content-Aware
  5. It fills the selected area with a similar image to neighboring pixels - as a result it blends and looks like it is camouflage.
  6. *OPTIONAL* For perfection, the filling may leave some unwanted borders. You may smoothen them out (causing them to be unnoticeable and realistic) by using the Smooth tool and outlining the previous shape.
Using these varying Images, we may come up with many different possibilities. Outlined in the next post! :)

  2. I love using content aware, I use a lot of ground textures in my videos and creating those usually uses a lot of cloning. CS5 pretty much saved my life :P
